A 30 minute consultation via telephone or Skype where we can get to know each other and I can really understand your vision and how I can turn it into reality. Your website is a digitalised version of you and your brand and this is the first step in creating a site that you will love.
Hosting and Domain setup. No worries here. I do this all for you.
Your choice between two templates, both of which offer a clean design and great user experience, which we ALL know is important.
A great colour scheme. Chosen by you, or if you already have your brands "look" we can work from there. If not we can work together to find the best colours that will perfectly reflect you, your brand AND your target audience.
Your customised font choices...yep they're important and have a huge effect on the site and brand as a whole
Five (5) pages of your website completely created for you. And only you. Each webpage is created from scratch by me. You supply the copy, images, and design, and I’ll put them together for you.
Two (2) weeks of full email support. So you won't feel totally abandoned. Any problems, any hiccups, anything I'm only an email away. I've got your back.

You will pick a desired start date (as soon as I’m available or a later date if wanted). Share your vision through the planning guide and we can talk on Skype. I’ll begin my research and brainstorming. An awesome site is on its way!

I will produce mock-ups of the proposed design
You will wait in excited anticipation. When mock-ups are complete, sign off (or make slight changes if they are needed) with glee! The website is coming to life. All is good with the world!

After signoff, I build and code your new site to prepare it for launch.
During this process you will approve different bits as we go. The more you are available the quicker the work can progress. On the agreed date the completed website is completed and launched.

FAQs

How long does it take?

A typical site takes 4 weeks from start to finish. I only schedule a minimum of clients per month to make sure I can dedicate enough time to your project. Of course, timeline does depend a lot on how prepared you are and how quickly you are able to respond at each stage with feedback. I’ll let you know my next available start date once you fill out the Hire Me form.

How do I pay you?

I take two payments: 50% when we start, and 50% before putting the site live. If you’re booking in advance, I’ll take a 25% deposit to secure your spot.
I take payment via PayPal or cheque. Whichever suits you best.

What will you use to build my website?

Every website I build is custom built from scratch. I never use templates. So every website is bespoke.
I primarily use HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery. If I am building a database I will use MySQL. These languages are supported by all major browsers and, used together, can produce amazing results.

What if I need extras that aren't listed above, like a membership section or connecting to a database?

When you complete the HIRE ME form, be sure to mention the details in the questionnaire. We’ll discuss the extra functionality and I’ll provide a custom quote.

Are there any other costs associated with having my website?

There are 2 primary costs to keep your website running :

Domain name: Domain names are about £10 per year. You don't need to worry. I will send out a reminder in plenty of time and once I receive payment I will sort everything out for you.

Hosting: This is the server where your website lives and allows the internet to find and display your site. This costs about £80 per year. Again, I will let you now in plenty of time when payment is due and once received I will sort everything out for you.
